Citation Reference: Article 52-24 (2) Citation Guidance: The provision of the preceding paragraph shall not apply to the cases where the total number of such voting rights held by a Bank Holding Company and its Subsidiary Companies exceeds the Voting Right Holding Threshold of a domestic company, if the Bank Holding Company or its Subsidiary Company comes to acquire or hold voting rights of the domestic company by the enforcement of security interest or by any other cause specified by a Cabinet Office Ordinance; provided, however, that the Bank Holding Company or its Subsidiary Company shall not continue to hold such part of the voting rights that it came to acquire or hold in excess of the Voting Right Holding Threshold after one year from the day on which it came to acquire or hold the voting rights, except when the Bank has in advance obtained approval for holding such portion of the voting rights from the Prime Minister. | ||
