Citation Guidance: The provision of the preceding paragraph shall not apply to the cases where a Bank, etc. Eligible for Subsidiary Company became a Subsidiary Company of a Bank by acquisition of its Shares, etc. by the Bank or its Subsidiary Company through enforcement of security interest or by any other cause specified by a Cabinet Office Ordinance; provided, however, that the Bank shall take necessary measures for making the Bank, etc. Eligible for Subsidiary Company cease to be its Subsidiary Company by the day on which one year has elapsed from the date on which that cause arose, except when the Bank has obtained an authorization from the Prime Minister for having the Bank, etc. Eligible for Subsidiary Company, which became to its Subsidiary Company, continue to be its Subsidiary Company.
