Knowledge of an SSN is not sufficient to act as evidence of identity, nor is it considered an acceptable method of verifying possession of the Social Security card when used as evidence. If the SSN is collected on behalf of a federal, state, or local government agency, the CSP SHALL provide notice to the applicant for the collection in accordance with applicable laws. | ||
