Citation: Resource Protection- Application Connector – Component that is deployed to be the front-end for an internal resource (whether located on-premises or in the cloud) and act as a proxy for it. Requests to access the resource are directed to the connector, which responds by initiating a secure connection to the PEP. A connector enables access to a resource to be controlled without requiring the resource to be visible on the network.
